It was nice. The building and the classrooms are full of technological tools. Also, the teachers are kind.

Internship and job opportunities. Moreover, there is a possibility to do business with foreign entrepreneurs.

Speaking, because I feel nervous and excited while I am talking to another person.

A good teacher should speak properly, be knowledgeable and should be kind to their students.

Aygün Boduroğlu.
What was the best thing about him?
He is very experienced and sincere. He loves his job and he knows how to teach.
What is your best memory of Aygün Boduroğlu?
He likes fishing like me and we shared our memories about fishing.
Do you think you will see him again after prep school?
Yes, definitely. His attitude was very impressive.

What was your first impression of her?
Perfect, she is a really helpful person and she likes all students and she looked reliable and responsible.

The International Food Fest and our C-starter class as a whole with Monique as our Reading-Writing teacher.

John Robertson.
What was your first impression of him?
To me, he seemed to be a funny and energetic person. Also, he looked like somebody from the Black Sea.
What was the best thing about John Robertson as a teacher?
Of course, his jokes and his admiration for Pamela Anderson.
Do you have a favourite memory?
John always told us stories about his ex-girlfriends and how their relationships ended up. Sometimes his friend Charles (Charles William Riddel) came to our class. Their conversations always made us laugh. Also, his Turkish words such as ‘Hadi len şapşal!’ or ‘Jeton düştü mü?’ are so funny.
Do you think that you will see him again after preparatory school?
Yes, I want to go to ‘EKOPUB’ with him.

Gülçin Güvençli.
What was your first impression of her?
She was so energetic and happy.
What was the best thing about Gülçin Güvençli as a teacher?
Her lessons were really funny and we had lots of fun. I could not understand how fast the lessons finished.

The last day of B-level we had a celebration and it was really emotional. I love her and hope to see her again!

I thought that he was so funny and charismatic.

One time, we went out and smoked together. That was the most romantic time of my life.

She is natural and sympathetic.

Yes, I’m sure I will.
Which skills did you develop in prep?
First of all, I’m now able to speak English fluently, thanks to prep. In daily life, I can read English sources without help. Also, I’ve met a lot of friends thanks to prep.
Do you have any distinct memories of your prep classes?
Once, there was a dog on the sixth floor which was very surprising. And also, once, there was a flood in the SFL-building.
What do you think about the online lectures?
I think they aren’t very efficient. I’d prefer face to face learning because I’m always bored during the online lessons. Classic education methods are better, I think.
Have you got any problems with the foreign teachers?
No, I haven’t got any problems. They are good people. Just the same as the Turkish teachers.
Do you think, is the prep class education sufficient?
Yes, it is. Very good quality.

Ümit Kılıç.
What was your first impression of him?
The first day, I realised that he was hilarious and affectionate. We were C-runner, and because of this, we were not happy, but he could entertain us with his jokes and we could feel better.
What was the best thing about Ümit Kılıç as a teacher?
He was so energetic and it affected our motivation positively, too. Also, he behaved like we were his friends.
Do you have a favourite memory?
After the module, we went to a restaurant together and we had a good time. I guess, that is our best memory.
Do you think you will see him again after prep school?
Yes, I think so.

Which teacher did you like the most so far?
Massimiliano Damiani. He was my teacher in B-level, and also now we are together in C starter.
What was your first impression of him?
Actually, it was not good. I thought that he was a little bit unfriendly. Maybe I felt like this because he was a foreigner. But my feelings changed after I got to know him.
What is the best thing about Massimiliano Damiani as a teacher?
He is so funny and friendly. He has lots of information about Turkish history and culture even though he has been here just for one year.
Do you have a favourite memory?
One day, during lunch time, we talked about Turkish history and especially the history of the republic. I realized he had a different perspective and I was surprised because he was really curious about our history. I guess, after this conversation, our relationship got stronger.
Do you think you will see him again after prep school?
Probably yes, I will. Because it is good to have a teacher like this and our relationship can help to improve my English.

What was your first impression of her?
She looked so nice and beautiful. The first day she said that she would be like our second mum, and I really felt like that.

She seemed a little arrogant at first, because of her young age.

We joined the Trivia Quiz together and we had so much fun.

In what ways is she different from other teachers?
She both entertains the students and gives the lecture at the same time.
What is her attitude to your problems?
Whenever I have a problem, I can freely tell her and whenever she sees me upset, she asks whether there is a problem or not. Moreover, she always offers to help.
Was she understanding when you were late for class?
I was never more than five minutes late, so she always let me into the classroom.
Have you ever spent time together outside the school?
Yes, we had lunch together with the whole class.

Of course, I believe that I will see her again after prep, because she is so enthusiastic and friendly.

Funda Çetin.
How was your first impression of her?
She had the biggest smile on her face and she looked so understanding, which was so true as I figured out later.
What is your best memory of her?
I’m not sure about that. But we always have lovely conversations at breaks.
What do you like about her most?
She sees each of us as a friend and behaves like that. She makes us feel valuable.
In what ways is she different from other teachers?
She empathizes with us all the time and takes care of all of us personally.
What is her attitude to your problems?
She cares about my problems as her own. Once I had a stye on my eye and had to cover it. She sent me to the school doctor but the doctor wasn’t there. Then she brought me some medicines the next day.
Was she understanding when you were late for class?
Yes of course, she always asks what my excuse was and listened. She never judged without listening. She might be the most understanding person I have ever known.
Have you ever spent time together outside school?
Yes, we had a barbeque party with the whole class. She drove me there. We met her daughter who was as lovely as she is.
Do you think you will see her again after prep?
Absolutely. I’ve just started my bachelor degree and see her from time to time. It is a bit difficult because of my schedule but I am sure that I will see her after school.
